4 months on average. This means that sometimes you may have a contract in you desk after two months; some others after 6. 

This is an average for an extensive research of distributors or suppliers. Longer searches do not last longer than 6 months while at times we may be able to find a supplier or customer in two or three week. Much depends on your specific case.
